Moto g stylus at metro by T-Mobile!

They finally have the moto g stylus at metro. Picked up 4 yesterday for free after porting in 4 numbers. They are still offering the 4 for $100 plan with $15 activation for those interested.

I saw this deal on their website.......It says free Moto g stylus in store only
I do have few questions though:
I'm with Cricket and network is poor in my area, and I'm tired fighting with them. I was ready to buy a Moto g7 supra to have wifi calling, but they want to charge me their $25 upgrade fees.....
So is the Mogo g stylus wifi calling capable, and is Metro by T-Mobile enabling wifi calling?
Can I port my number from Cricket to Metro by T-Mobile?
Actually, this new phone (the Moto g stylus) is for my wife: she doesn't care about power since she doesn't play at all.....All she wants is a large screen and a "good" camera

Metro is only in store and you will pay a fee on every line/device you get from Metro. They charge you for everything. If the phone comes from Metro it should support VoLTE and WIFI calling. It will be locked to Metro for 12 months.

It would be a Metro phone (the Moto g stylus)...by the way, is it GSM or cdma?

Metro is GSM as they run off of and are owned by T-mobile.

As usual Moto phones are great and yes it does have WiFi calling. The camera is good also and of course you can port in. The phone is free, all you need to do is pay first month and $15 activation fee. Go to a corporate store and not an authorized retailer to avoid any hassles if you can.

You can unlock it in 6 months with the unlock app installed on phone.

Sure is. You should get the 4 lines for $100 month and 4 x $15 activation fee if Cricket sucks in your area. These are normally $300 each.

When it says $40 for 10GB (or $70 for 2 lines) does it include taxes and fees?
Or is it going to be on top of it?
With Cricket taxes are included.....

Yes all fees and taxes included. That's the plan I'm on except I got 4 for $100.

Edit: Sorry I'm on the unlimited plan. I get unlimited everything except there's no hotspot.

OK, I will go take a look, there is a corporate store close to me
The new phone (Moto G Stylus) would be for my wife
But for my daughter, she has her own Apple XR that she will keep......Can I just port in her number thru BYOP program?
Or could I take a second Moto G Stylus, and as soon as it's been activated, put the SIM card into her iPhone, and keep the brand new Stylus as a spare phone?

Is the iPhone unlocked? If so I would port her number in get the free phone and wait until the next day and do an IMEI change. You can do it in the automated system or talk to someone. You can't just swap Sims with metro you have to update the IMEI or it won't work. That's really not a big deal though. But definitely get the extra Moto g stylus as a spare.

We went to the store......Phone looks nice
They said we will need to sign (for the 1st month) for the $60 plan, which should end up to ~ $90 for 2 lines + 2 x $15 activation
They only had 1 left in stock, so we didn't do anything yet and will go back in the middle of the week (they should have received more phones)
They should also have the LG Stylus 6......we will be able to compare
