The $10.00 UT&T plan would be perfect for my mom. I am assuming this is not VOIP? Anyone here using Liberty Wireless?

Don't you mean to say $60 per year?

That UT&T&1GB Data, $10/mo plan seems pretty attractive if native T-Mo coverage works for the subscriber. It looks like all Liberty Wireless plans have a hard data cap.

Thanks Boz1, really don't need data. I'm going to look into the 60.00 annual plan that Relztrah pointed out. And yes T-Mobile coverage is really good in the DC area. Just to be sure I may get a 30 day $10 Red Pocket sim just to make sure.

Edit: Just tested & T-Mobile (Liberty) reception is poor here.

Just looking at them again. One plan I have only needs unlmtd talk. That's on Good2Go (AT&T) UTT $10 + taxes & fees autopay. Comes to an inflated $13.38 otd.

So I'm going to throw in my TM GR prepaid SIM in that phone. See how that works. That should be apples to apples with Liberty, right?

    Red Pocket (AT&T) UTT 5GB exp 09.27.20
    Good2Go (AT&T) UTT recurring {12*26} $13.38 otd/mo
    T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 01.11.21
    Tello x2 (Sprint) $5 1-use/3mo no exp by 10.01.20

Not necessarily. I've read here that the major networks deprioritize the MVNOs, so the reception you receive with T-Mobile may be better than you get with Liberty Wireless. Or maybe that only applies to data. I've never used any of the major networks, only MVNOs, so I don't have any firsthand experience with it.

If deprioritized only data would be slowed. You would still receive all the same bands as T-Mobile, but data may be slowed on congested towers. Voice calls should not be affected.

It appears there is an option to top this up to an existing account directly from the libery website. So not just an ebay plan. Well in theory anyway.

Liberty FAQ: "Yes our plans all have Wi-Fi calling enabled"

It does not seem likely to me that a T-Mobile MVNO would not include VoLTE-- T-Mobile is serious about converting all their users to VoLTE voice.
