New Tracfone LG Classic Flip L125DL Quick Review

I had previously tried to activate with a random byod verizon sim out of the drawer. They checked several more sims for me but would not tell me the original sim number so I could look for it (i've go a pile).

I may give it a never try but would gladly pay a few bucks for unlock code. Unfortunatley I have never found online unlockers that will do this model phone. Cheers

All you need to find the original SIM is the red activation card that came with the phone because it has the SIM number on it.

If you have the sheet that came with the phone, you can find the ICCID on that.

Thanks for the tips. I've got a gallon ziplock full of TF detritus going back to the Family Dollar $1 deals but no luck finding any of the original stuff from this phone. Moving on. Cheers

The Tracfone LG Classic Flip L125DL is even on the AT&T approved list for phones that will work post 3G shutdown. I purchased two at Best Buy a few months ago. One came with a TF/Verizon SIM and the other came with a TF/AT&T SIM. You could tell which SIM was in the box as there is a coverage map of the USA on the front of the box and the one with the TF/Verizon SIM was red and the one with the TF/AT&T SIM was blue. I've unlocked mine and are using them on a t-mobile MVNO. As someone mentioned above, they are only missing band 71 for t-mobile, but that doesn't seem to affect me. I think 71 is more for rural areas, but I could be wrong about that.

Grogu, you mentioned that you bought a Verizon-network, and an AT&T-network LG Classic. (Congrats on that rare find!) Did Tracfone unlock both of these on the 60 day schedule? I don't think I've seen another report of a Tracfone-branded AT&T-network phone getting unlocked since the Verizon buyout.

I was just pointing out that the LG Classic would work with AT&T and that Tracfone actually sold it with an TF/AT&T SIM at one time because someone had posted above that the LG Classic was just Verizon or T-Mobile.

When I purchased the 2 at Best Buy I used curbside pickup and didn't even realize that they were different until I got them home. I specifically bought them to unlock and use on another carrier, so when I found out one had an AT&T SIM, I contacted TF to see if they would unlock it after 60 days. They either didn't know or at least wouldn't commit to what they would do with a brand new phone activated with a TF/AT&T SIM and just kept referring me to their unlock policy which only says 60 days when activated on the Verizon network. So, I returned the AT&T one to Best Buy and bought another with the TF/Verizon SIM in it to make sure I could get them both unlocked.

Don't know how I missed the quad core info in the owners manual. Guess I wasn't fully awake.
Not sure what a Snapdragon 210 is but will Google it.

The Snapdragon 210 is the CPU that is in this phone.

If you look up the LG Wine 2, you will find more specs for the LG Classic Flip since they are the same phone from what I can see from the FCC ID.

You still get Triple your minutes with any flip phone you use with TracFone.
