1X/3G works fine on my LG Classic flip. You can turn off VoLTE which forces it to 1X to complete the call so I have no doubt that EVDO will work for data as well.
Castrol EDGE 0W-20 is my drug of choice.

Just found the TF LG Classic 125dl flip on sale at Target's website for 19.99.

    https://www.target.com/p/tracfone-pr...y/-/A-79760971

If you've been wanting one, run don't walk, it may be out of stock soon at that price.

Has anyone activated the new LG 125dl using a tracfone supplied AT&T sim successfully?
    Thank-You

I have a blind person looking. Does this phone have voice enunciation?

    Thanks!

What kinds of things are you looking to do with voice? It has a speakerphone and Voice Commands to do some things. Both have to be activated by pressing a key.

My wife's Nexus 5 is going bad and she wants a simpler flip phone, this looks good. Has an at&t micro SIM. Does this, or any recent flip phones have micro? I want to be sure her 3 bucket account transfers, has over 1000 minutes in it (we use the $20 90 day buckets)

I believe he uses the voice to enunciate the buttons he pushes, digits, etc. Also, perhaps read texts upon direction.

Yes it does. There is an accessibility setting that will activate verbal readouts.

I just played around with it and it is extremely annoying when dialing a number. When dialing a number not only will it state the number pressed but everything else on the screen too. It bombards you with information. Making listening to the readout quite convoluted.

Maybe all of that information is what a blind person needs. But I can see a point when all I would want is to dial a number and have it tell me what digit I pressed rather than stating how many phone numbers are located in the drop down contacts list every time I pressed a new digit. I think it would get tedious to listen to.

In this thread there is a link to the owners manual . You can look at it to see what information is read out.

Like you said, it gives an audio readout of what is on the screen. You still have to press keys.

Thanks to you both. I’ve been trying to get this person to get a newer phone, but, he was demanding the voice feature. I guess he’ll get it from both barrels.

Is there a way to change the menu background on this phone? From that light blue to say black? "Wallpaper" only seems to change start screen.

Also, what's the status bar icon upper left, check mark with line under it?

Checkmark with line generally means a download completed.

Yep, found it in the downloaded manual. Not sure how to get rid of it though. Was nice, just click on my contacts csv file and it automatically puts them all in contacts. Can't figure out how to go straight to speed dial names though.

You have a few options for fast dialing on that phone. Long press in the dial pad, Favorites, Groups. A lot of Android phones have none of this.

Thanks, not exactly "speed". Was looking for a direct way to get to the speed dial list. If there was a way to press one button to get to the list. Otherwise you have to remember the button and person. On her old phone the contacts button went to the speed dial list, or there was an icon on the screen. Looks like fastest way is to hit menu, then options, then speed dial to find the name. Or just start pressing dial pad numbers until it's the one she wants. Be nice if the contact button went straight to speed dial list.
