I think it will be grandfathered like other plans they don't have anymore. If you still have the 10 cent per minute they let you keep it until you switch.

I totally agree with cellular-dude. I have been participating in this AT&T Prepaid (formerly GoPhone) forum since 2010, and I have never heard of a plan that was not grandfathered.

I am on the $300 annual plan. While the $15 plan was available for new sign-ups, I did have the option to switch to that plan. When it stopped being available for new sign-ups, that option went away. The $35 is the cheapest plan available (excluding pay per use plans) as the T&T only ($30 or $25 /w AP) plan seems to be no longer offered for new sign-ups.

Is the $15 plan gone? I can't find it on the prepaid site.

I kind of regret now not having switched a $35/mo line to this plan, but I thought it was only for new customers, and didn't want to go thru hoops and loops to get it, being it supposedly just a temporary promotion.

The $35 plan with the autopay and multiline discounts goes down to $20/mo though and since it now matches the 2GB data allotment of the $15/mo plan it makes it less painful. But still it is $5/mo more expensive for the exact same service.

I have this plan. It’s set to renew on the 29th for $15 per month.

    No change.

Reports are Cricket users get a pop up message saying the plan is grandfathered, so hopefully ours is too.

Doesn’t seem like any grandfathering will happen. I think if people want to keep the plan the price doubles

That’s true for Cricket but where did you see it for ATT?

I hope not. Doubling the price of a service like this is never a good look.

You can get 25GB’s of data for $40 with the Wal-Mart promotion: https://www.att.com/prepaid/walmart-offer/

Oh well. If this is true I’ll cancel.
