    Moto G6 32gb refurb for $39

I saw a refurbished TF Moto G6 32gb on the Walmart website for $39 and it says almost nothing about it.

When Walmart lists refurb TracFones, is it safe to bite?

    Just wondering.

Cheaper at Amazon. Extra 20% off when you use Discover card points (mentioned w/link in the SD comments) select free shipping

I think the title is wrong. The rest of the ad says 32GB. Also, TF has only one Moto G6 model and it has 32GB internal memory.

I guess "renewed" is the Amazon term for reconditioned or refurbished. I read, (quote pasted in)

Professionally inspected and tested to work and look like new, with minimal to no signs of wear, by an Amazon-qualified supplier. Supplier performs a full diagnostic test, replaces any defective parts, and thoroughly cleans the product. Box and accessories (no headphones included) may be generic. Batteries have at least 80% capacity relative to new.

Backed by the Amazon Renewed Guarantee. Eligible for replacement or refund within 90 days of your receipt if it does not work as expected via a single point of contact at Amazon.

    (End quote)

It certainly has more info posted about it at Amazon than at Walmart!

I wonder if there are a high percentage of reconditioned G6 xt1925 due to the glass back breaking from drops.

If buying this phone it might be advised to invest in a good case to protect against "unscheduled departure" to the floor.

Thanks for posting the link to the deal!

Hmm... That's tempting then. Can I just stick in a TF SIM card I already have? Or is it bound to a SIM card?

It's a TF-branded phone, so the SIM is paired to the phone. You can activate the G6 with a transfer from your current phone/SIM, but be aware that it'll come with a TF/VZW SIM.

If your current TF SIM is BYOP and AT&T or T-mo, you can stick it into the G6 and functionally it'll work, because the phone is a DL model, but it's still paired to its original SIM.

If someone trusts TF $50 GC Promotion, this is a decent deal:
Refurbished TF Moto G6 for $59.99, get a $50 Ebay GC with at least $15 activation .

The phone with sales tax, free shipping, is about $65. Buy it by 4/30, activate by 5/7 with at least a $15 time card. Submit for a $50 Ebay GC. Read the info near the end of the ad, or go to this site for more info: https://handsetrewardprogram.com/ .

If you have one of those $15 500/500/500/30-day time card that you got a few months ago for a few bucks after using the $15 OFF code, this is a good use for it. If you receive the $50 GC before the 30 days are up, call TF and ask a rep to combine the remaining units/days to your main phone if you don't want to use the Moto G6 as a daily carry.

Okay, I'm giving this a shot. Don't really need another phone, but that's not stopped me before. :-) I was hoping the deal will go away while I was looking up reviews on the G6.

The description says you get a $50 gift card if you activate by 5/7. Would probably have to add a $15 card, but if that works, it's basically a free phone.

The $50 GC offer stipulates that the phone must cost $49 or more. So the phone on Amazon doesn't qualify. The G6 phone on Ebay is around $65 with taxes, plus $15 for a time card plus taxes. So you spend around $80 and get $50 back. Still a good deal though.

    :-(

Well, Amazon might not get it to me by 5/7 anyway.

    Moto G6 32gb refurb for $39

I will probably go case-less (naked??). Tried all different cases for my Moto G5 Plus until I realized that I prefer no case with that phone.

Amazon is taking forever to ship non-essentials these days! (Forever = 1-2weeks &#129322

Doubt they are not going to repair a broken glass back on one of these.
