3.5 GHz Internet Service - Base and client antenna/radio specifications?

I am not 100% sure whether this is the correct forum for my question. If it is not, please add a Comment with the proper forum and I'll move this thread over.

    Hi,

Does anyone have the specifications for the wireless gear Bell is using for their Wireless Home Internet solution? I believe it's LTE-A, 3.5 GHz.

    For the base and client:

    • Frequency
    • Transmit power - watt or dBm
    • Antenna gain (dBi)

    Thank you very much!

    Question

I honestly think Bell's wireless home internet just runs off the existing cellular infrastructure, if that's the case you can lookup the closest tower (and corresponding band information) to you here: https://www.ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/cancellsites.html

Edit: I stand corrected. For certain communities it is indeed 3,500 Mhz fixed wireless internet.

    Thanks!

I wonder if they'd use similar gear that WISPs are using for their LTE-A deployments. Hmmmm.

It's dedicated LTE Band 42 spectrum for fixed wireless home internet. This is not shared with Telus. I can't share network equipment specs publicly.
