Has anyone moved from $300 a year plan to this plan? What happens to the remaining balance (+tax)?

I find a bit of language on this plan and Cricket's to signal this might be different in terms of grandfathering:

AT&T Prepaid lists this as a plan "feature" (for $T at least):
    Limited time offer
    Price subject to change.
Cricket has it with the other plan fine-print:
    Price subject to change.
I may still sign up for the heck of it, but leave my main line as-is. I feel like this is the first time that they've had something regarding price changes on a promotional plan. Most of the time, it'll just say that it's for a limited time.

Has anybody been able to switch to the $15 plan? It still isn't available on my account page. I tried to call At&t, but after being on hold for over an hour, I gave up.

It wasn't showing up for much of the day after word of it came out.
iPhone 11 is my current primary phone. But I have more phones than lines. Back to only Prepaid with the changes in the economy.

Strange, it still doesn't show up as an option on my main page nor my member line page.

From reading various sites, the only folks who are not seeing it are existing customers with multi-line accounts.

That makes more sense why I am snot seeing. Does that mean there is a delay posting the plan or is it only for single lines?

This is an excerpt from a lengthier thread - a couple of multi-line folks were able to find a way to switch:

You have to make your desired line look like a single line account and then you have access to new plan - if I'm interpreting everything correctly.

It seems that there's some issues with browser cache/cookies preventing people from seeing the new plan on the ordering page, too.

Existing customers can see the $15/2GB plan in the OLAM.

After doing some math, it is not that attractive ... for now, especially considering that this $15 plan doesn't qualify for multi-line ($30 minimum required).

$35/mo with Autopay becomes $30/mo and if the line is part of a multi-line account, you get extra $10 off, so it becomes $20/mo. The difference with this new $15 plan is now $5 more, and 1 GB less, but with the current 10GB promotion for 60 days, I'd rather keep it until the 10GB promo expires and avoid going through hoop and loops for the savings, and rather have the comfort of dealing with a single payment and place to manage those accounts. After the 60-days period passes I will reassess.

They have to do something with the $35/mo plan or the $15/mo plan or both. It doesn't make sense to have a less expensive plan offering exactly the same features and more data.

If they have multi-line account set up, they cannot. (I'm one of them)

I did a test to see which data bucket is used first -- corona data, plan data or rollover data. The answer is corona data.
