    T-Mobile Connect Plans Now Live

“The Internet wasn’t meant to be metered in bits and bytes, so it’s insane that wireless companies are still making you buy it this way. The rate plan is dead — it’s a fossil from a time when wireless was metered by every call or text.” John Legere 1/5/2017

I already called to transfer my $10/month Simple Choice Mobile Internet plan to a $15/month T-Mobile Connect. It's like adding unlimited talk and text for $5. They couldn't do it automatically so they scheduled it for the next billing period. I think this is a great plan for those that don't need a lot of internet and might end up being one of the most popular. I wonder if they'll get unlimited internet during the period while T-Mobile is offering unlimited for all of it's customers?

Why would I want to use this instead of Mint or Liberty the 5g access ? Can u change from the $15 to the $25 later on if I need more data ?

    Sim?

Someone in the ATT forums said a Tracfone ATT sim card works for ATT prepaid also. Does anyone know if this is the same for Tmobile, using a Tracfone Tmobile sim? I have a new Tracfone Tmobile sim.

That was me and no the Tracfone/T-Mobile sim card won't work. I tried last year when I discovered that Tracfone/At&T and H20 sims worked on AT&T prepaid.

By "capped" does that mean no slower speed after? Just hard no data?

To me these plans seem crappy, for $300 ATT annual was much better for 8gb, Id rather pay year in advance and get extra 3gb a month

It's for people who don't need more than 2 gigs. Just because it does not fit you does not make them crappy.
