By the time Verizon gets around to rolling this out it’ll be time to give the borrowed spectrum back.

    Temporary Additional Spectrum

"Spectrum" bandwidth limits only the max theoretical speed on that specific cell.

Surely, it will probably limit the individual speedtest results, but that' just the insanity... a lot of people seem to think that if you have 400Mbps versus 80Mbps, you have a "better" connection.
Better for speedtest, but nothing in real life needs that.
Tell that to T-Mobile who has immense density in LA but is quite congested compared to the other carriers . That’s going to change now though once they ultilize band 41. You need a combination of spectrum and density to maintain data traffic. The faster the speeds a tower can put out the more capacity that’s there for customers to use.

Surprised VZ didn't go after that AWS-4 spectrum that AT&T is using. I havent seen any sign of that here.

Dish also has a near nationwide chunk of AWS-3 B1 block(1700-1710) that is downlink only. Does Verizon have access to that as well?
