The 3MBps plan has been like this for years.

It's decent enough if you're in an area where AT&T service is good - I've had family on both the old version and the current one (both 3Mbps) for the last two years and I've gone back to it. Over-the-air app installs take a little longer to install, but I haven't run into issues with video buffering (I've actually watched more video now that there's no concern to keep an eye on data).

If you need a 5th line, it's 5/$125, but not really marketed anywhere (the 5th line gets its own weird discount rate).

If you find the plan isn't to your liking, you can always switch to the 5GB plan (8Mbps cap), which would be 4/$110, or upgrade to the Cricket More plan (4/$130), which takes away the 3Mbps throttle and adds 15GB included hotspot data.

The two unlimited plans are always deprioritized, so in some congested areas, you might feel some temporary slow down, but then so are some of AT&T's prepaid and postpaid plans now.
