Mint mobile free for 3 months

    https://www.mintmobile.com/free/

3Gb/mo plan free for 3 MOs. Sign up starts Feb 2, 3:15 pm PT for a few hours (until the Super Bowl ends).

You’ll need to provide a credit card to sign up but won’t be charged (except for the pre authorization $0.01 which will disappear later).

You can activate the SIM card within 45 days.

Great find! I’m going to try to get a couple of lines.

I think most people that are using the promo Mint 3-month plans use Google Voice, so they just activate a new promo SIM with a new phone # when each prior promo plan expires.

It does say New Activations and Limit 1 per household, so if they already have your address, it might not be allowed (I don't know if you had to supply it, when you activated previously).

    >Now if I can remember to do it.

My gauge is that the offer will be gone in less than five minutes. "Robo-dialers" (ie scripts) will be out in force. The "slow-fingered" will have resort to eBay for the sudden surge of "3-month Mint SIMs" sales offers.

    SlickDeals effect.

    Yes more than likely.

It's not actually like I really need it anyway so I'm not going to be disappointed if I can't get in.

I'm not going to spend/waste more than 5 minutes trying.

That's if I do remember it on the day and time that the offer is live.

It is entirely possible that I'll forget all about it until the next day and see people here posting whether or not they were able to get the deal.

Well I am excellent at canceling stuff but at this point since I really don't need the service even a little bit I'm just going to pass on it.

It used to be fun getting the free deals on cell service but I think that the novelty has worn off for me at least.

I do still get that twinge of temptation when a new free service offer pops up like this one. But I really need to rein that in.

Keeping track of all of the different services in the different phones just gets annoying after a while.

If I genuinely needed cellular service I'd do it.

If you can't remember to uncheck auto refill at the time of purchase, you can login and turn it off. Not too hard.

I signed up but the website didn't accept my virtual Capital One card. Had to use PayPal.
