    I've been on Beta for about 2 weeks & can't make calls on either native ATT or with the messaging app. Incoming calls work, but they come through the app.

    Hoping they come up with a solution soon. . . . . .

    Thanks Digital Rules for the update. Coming to believe RP didn't want anything to do with the ATT side of FP from the beginning.

    This thread reminds me of an episode of "The Office".

    Ryan is talking to someone on the phone and says "I wish I could make phone calls on my iPod". There is a pause and he says "I know what an iPhone is, I don't want an iPhone".

    In the same way, many are saying "I want freedompop to have native voice.....I know that's exactly what redpocket already is....I don't want redpocket!"

    Haha! That's true!

    Unfortunately, I think RP brought it on themselves by making that promise of native AT&T voice on FP plans. They should have just kept the FP & RP plan features separate!

    I just don't want anything to change for the worse with the FP AT&T LTE annual plans!

    By the way, the FP AT&T LTE plans are currently on sale again.

    The 5 gig annual plan must be very popular. I ordered from Best Buy on Feb 6 & still haven't received it. Got a text saying they would cancel the order if they can't get it to me by March the 19th (Ouch)

    Update--Can now make calls through the Messaging app, but can't send or receive texts. Cellular call quality through the app is fine except it seems to be using data???? I do notice the data clicks through a few Mb's a day even when connected to Wi-fi.

    Native calling & texting still doesn't work.

    Wow! That must be frustrating! It currently shows a 2/27/20 delivery date for me on the product page. But who knows what's really going on?

    Finally received the Freedom Pop 5 gig sim card today. (ordered Feb 6th from Best Buy) Hope this one is easier to get up & running. Still no native voice on the 1 gig plan, but voice & text now work on the Freedom Pop app.

    Would love some more details about the beta and your feedback. Redpocket has been tight lipped since the beginning. Any ETA on rollout?

    Both new accounts (1 gig & 5 gig) I activated indicate they are beta, but so far it is just the same as in the past. You still have to use the app for calling & texting. Texting is very reliable, but incoming calls only ring about half the time. Outgoing calls work fine over Wi-fi, LTE or HSPA.
