? 7" tablet that functions as 4G LTE phone for calls, text, data, & wifi?

Looking for 7" screen size or slightly bigger tablet that functions as a 4G LTE phone for cellular calls, text, data, & wifi.

Preferences: Android ONLY, large screen to body ratio, under $200 used or new, rootable with ROMS up to Oreo (8) or newer, 2GB RAM or more, Gorilla glass or similar not cheap regular glass, LG Motorola Lenovo.

Must 100% work on AT&T network.

    TY

What about the Samsung Fold ?? At&t currently has the exclusive on that device. You won't find one for under $200, it is approximately $1290. You will not find a device that large anytime soon for under $200. Android tablets are not cell phones but they can use messaging apps and applications that allow voice over Wifi. Some tablets can be used to connect to cellular data but are not designed for cellular voice. Sorry to have to be so blunt.
    Just another day in paradise.....

Probably will be used. I don't expect it to be current. I'm expecting a tablet up to 6 years old.

No way I'll pay over $200 let alone $1290.

Even if I could afford the Galaxy Fold, I would be worried I would either drop and break it or have it stolen. I would never spend that much on a phone.

I'm thinking you will have to look at Chinese brands. I doubt if they would be rootable (word?). Walmart might be a good source. Try PLUM Max on their site.

As an after thought you might try Chinese sites like Alibaba, Gearbest, or Banggood.

Potential issue with unbranded devices is lack of technical/device support by the carrier

This device was released by Samsung in 2013. I am not certain it can be rooted to Android Oreo, but XDA-Developers could offer help to determine that.

This is a link to the device specifications: https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_gal...e_8_0-5252.php. The device does support LTE for data only, but not VOLTE.

The price, while in the OP's budget is a bit high for a 6 year-old device.

I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.1 that was released about the same time and because of limited internal memory, the Android version could not be upgraded past Kit Kat. I did have a 1 GB SD card installed at the time.

Supposedly the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100 which is the international version supports cellular phone calls.
Found one insane price of $500 at Amazon.
And two from China on eBay for $150 that doesn't mention any about cellular phone calls or 4G LTE capabilities.

if you look at the first picture, it has a phone icon, I had one of these but AT&T would not activate since its a tablet with a functioning cell phone.
I also had a Samsung galaxy tab s2 9.7 sm-t815 which also had a functioning cell phone

I would like to get a 7 inch tablet that has a Sim card / Phone to use as a GPS devise ,

I just found a new Magellan 7 inch GPS from 2013 and its Horrible !
Google maps is so much better , but its real nice to have the 7 inch screen I can read while driving ,

did they ever put a better GPS chip in the tablets ?
Wanted: old barnfind VWs , Old Porsche projects and Sports cars ,
save them from the crusher , I have had my tetanus shots so rust does not scare me ,
    anything considered even parts cars

You want to read while driving ??

Most tablets for the past several years do have GPS built in.
