That is probably true. Did Sprint have many sites in your area ( or one of their affiliates )?
This is similar to places like rural California.
Claiming B12 or B71 to be a magic pill. It is not. At 'best' it helps coverage in rural places have signal where PCS/AWS wouldn't. Tmobile typically has not covered rural areas as well as AT&T or Verizon in my opinion. This is typically why many that work/travel/live in those areas typically do not use TMobile.

In a suburban area (Palm Springs) B12/B71 is the difference between poor service and roaming in buildings.Name: Capture%2B_2019-12-14-10-57-12.jpeg

I don't see anyone stopping you from expressing a different opinion.
Depends, do you feel that constantly calling someone a "hater" or "attacker" anytime they express a different opinion is name calling? To me, it seems to be a way to get a negative reaction from a person and intentionally start an argument. Are you familiar with the term deliberative rhetoric?

Which provided you a better user experience in the buildings, roaming or the weak 71 signal?

If T-Mobile had dedicated all it's band 71 for 4G it WOULD have made a difference

That is the plan when Stand-Alone (SA) 5G with DSS is deployed that will share both 5G & 4GLTE on the same physical spectrum block with Network Slicing that adds multiplexing and virtualization. 3GPP is due to release the standard in June but T-Mobile has tested ST 5G with DSS and 4GLTE already. https://www.fiercewireless.com/5g/er...ectrum-sharing

Obviously.. The weak B71. Even my work AT&T phone was in and out of service in that location.

In those places... Nope. They would have to physically build B12/B71 on sites that they have chosen not to. 1 site 2 miles away B4 only ... One site 15 miles away B4 only (works well with clear line of site). One 3.5 miles away has b4/b12...very weak. One that's on other side of "hill" has B4/B12/B17... Only good for parts of the highway.
Interesting 'facts' though. At the site in downtown East Village Cambria - speeds were ~120-135Mbps. SINR was 30.0, RSRQ of -3 to -5. Out on the beach at the ocean, when I connected to B4 at Hearst Castle (~9 miles away) with clear line, I did hit 75-100Mbps.Name: Capture%2B_2019-12-25-14-00-48.jpeg

That's good then. I know in some areas where they eliminated some At&t roaming and replaced it with native b71/12 coverage there has been some issues with roaming providing better coverage. Good to see areas where the opposite is the case also.

A year ago at the same location, when it was B12 on T-Mobile, and I had my work AT&T phone... B12 was dropping in and out of service constantly, as was my AT&T iPhone 8. This year, my phone would typically stay connected to B71 (still did have occasional dropouts), but B12 would rarely register. Since T-Mobile is using the same panel for B12 and B71, I suspect one of 2 things. Either B71 is not as used (giving it more use than B12 and better SNR) - B12 being slightly worse than last year due to more devices with B12 out there now... or the difference in the panel making it slightly worse on B12 .. being a little better on B71. It could be also a little of both.

Just as a note... roaming in SoCal = 'Emergency SOS' only. My means of above statement was due to having a work phone with AT&T at the same location. Neither were any good... just T-Mobile lost service 'less' than a year back when it was B12, and less than AT&T.
