    Travel to England

My wife is a flight attendant, and travels to London about once a week.
More for emails and data/internet, than voice access.
It looks like TravelPass ($10/24 hours), $70 monthly (0.5GB incl), or Pay as you go ($2.05/MB data) are the options.
There used to be several TravelPass included in previous high end unlimited plans, but it looks like they removed that.
    Any other options?
I guess we could get a Three SIM or something similar to use there, but losing access to texts is a concern.
    Thanks in advance.

For the amount you’ll spend, you could get Three sim only or prepaid monthly passes. You could also try MVNO that run off Three, EE network.

Get a local SIM and use WhatsApp, Google Voice, or something similar.

Three Sim is a great option.

Does seem like a hassle to have to keep removing the SIM though. Isn’t that gonna screw something up like with the phone or wear things out? If data is the primary issue why not just use WiFi?

Might have been more timely for the OP when they posted the original question in December 2019.

DebiLee has bumped a dozen or more very old threads in the last day for whatever reason.

I look at it this way, those threads are a hell of a lot more interesting then the arguing over whose 5G is better. It’s good to stimulate our minds while stuck and bored at home with renewed interest and conversation. I apologize if I upset you.

Travel pass worked fine for those days she needed it. Unfortunately, we don’t know when those London flights will resume.

You didn’t upset me. Just thought it was a little odd that you bumped a dozen old threads at once and was teasing you for it. No biggie!
