Chicago Free Interent for Life... Can i swap plan?

I'm on unlimited + more premium currently with two phones.. the new plan is the same price but higher depri point AND 30GB hotspot included.

Has anyone with this promo swapped to the new plan yet and still kept the $0/mo 100/20 VDSL2? If it will mess with that i'll stick to what I do now (just carry a Nighthawk with an iPad SIM in it).. I'm afraid to mess with the plan as with AT&T anytime i've ever touched anything on the account it's just been a massive billing nightmare.
    Verizon: Grandfathered UDP
T-Mobile: Magenta Amplified (airline employee plan)
    AT&T: Premium & More w/ Free 100Mbps VDSL2 "for life"

It was if you swapped to AT&T unlimited from another carrier, you got up to 100Mbps free.

So right now, my DSL shows as $0 for 100/20

I got it before Unlimited & More Premium, so I also get HBO free, plus I selected "Starz" as my freebie, so for $150 i've got 100/20 VDSL2, HBO/Starz, AT&T WatchTV, and unlimited talk/text/data/15GB hotspot on two phones currently.

And I get i'm being greedy wanting 30GB of hotspot, but if I can maximize this plan.. why not?

I recommend that you go to the At&t internet site for more details. I suspect that it uses the statement "for qualified plans only" and you could potentially lose the benefits if you make changes to the plan itself. Either way, do an internet chat and print out the dialogue with the online rep. Make sure that you get full verification before making any changes. You might want to confirm with more than one online rep. Best of luck and make sure you give us an update.

It does have that stipulation, and when I chat with them they always seem amazed like they know nothing about the plan.

Before when Unlimited/More Premium came out, there was a page on AT&T's support site that explicitly said you could swap plans, but that page does not exist anymore.

I think i'll just leave it alone for now and just keep an iPad SIM in a nighthawk for hotspot use, as even Comcast here for 100/10 is going to be $40 for a year, then $75 after with that pesky cap. I also have unlimited data on the AT&T due to the DirecTV Now promo they did a year ago (the more I write this the more I realize I do not want to touch anything on this account). I'm just going to leave it alone haha

It tests RIGHT AT 100/20, but for the price.. i'm not complaining:
