    Blacklisted iphone

Does anybody know how to unblacklist an iphone from AT & T. I purchased it of ebay smashed. The phone is fixed now and I don’t want to return it because i put money and time in. The seller is offering partial payment but i’m not interested.
    Thanks

When a device is blacklisted, only the original owner can pay the outstanding balance to get it removed from the blacklist. Nothing you can do yourself and no unlocking service can help you either. A blacklisted phone is probably best used for parts and not much else. You could use it on Wifi only, but you won't be able to activate on any US carrier (prepaid or postpaid).
Don't make me turn this car around.....

Is it only due to unpaid bills that a phone gets blacklisted? What about phones reported stolen?

So if the OP bought a blacklisted phone from someone on Ebay, he should take it up with Ebay, PayPal and/or the police. Regular users of this forum should probably not be advising new users who just "bought" a blacklisted phone to sell it abroad. There is a good reason they are blacklisted.
