Red Pocket Plan Expired & lost number

My Yearly Red Pocket plan expired yesterday. ( My fault—It was a 360 day plan that I thought was a full year). Red Pocket refuses to reactivate my number and says it went back to Verizon. Verizon says Red Pocket still has the number for 30 days. Called Red Pocket reps again and they say that isn’t true and say they do not have the number to reactivate. Would someone advise me if there is anything else I could do to keep my number? Thank you!

Never heard of any carrier (whether direct network or MVNO) dumping your number immediately. Always at least 30 days to renew your plan.
Is this another RP hiccup that's kept me away from them.

Do you track your account through redpocket.com? If so the number should show up there. I just did a test run with Verizon & the account stayed open for 30 days after the month I paid for had expired.

Yes , the number is still on my red pocket.com account but they said I cannot reactivate it.

Try buying a month & adding it to your account through redpocket.com.

Now I'm not sure about porting to Red Pocket

I was planning to port my primary number from Truphone to RP T-Mo on a 360 day 100/100/500 plan that's on sale (I need MMS to work) but this and other recent threads about RP spotty tech support have me reconsidering my options.

Anyone have a positive experience with RedPocket tech support - porting or otherwise? Thanks in advance.
Trying to come up with some sort of signature line...

Thank you for your suggestion. I did try your idea and the website gave an error message. I called them back and this time the rep said she would escalate the problem by sending an email to “upper level support “ which would take up to 2 days to respond. She denied that she had any access to other support of any kind except by email. I guess there is nothing else to do. Thank you for your input.

I have had good luck with tech support in the past. Even when I changed from one carrier to another.
iPhone 11 is my current primary phone. I have older model iPhones and Moto phones available on other lines. Currently prepaid, though would consider postpaid on right plan.

Did you purchase the plan on eBay? I had a good experience using the eBay message system with redpocketstore. They were very helpful and replied to my eBay messages within 24 hours. It's worth a try if that is how you purchased your plan. I think maybe redpocketstore on eBay has a different customer service department from the normal RedPocket customer service.
My smartphone is a lot smarter than I am.

I did. So I have written them on eBay and explained my problem. I will let you know if they respond. Thanks.

Very strange that the account went straight to "closed". They normally go into "expired" status for 30 days before closing.
