    There is an official color chart book for printing ,

    How many shades off the "official" Tmobile magenta is OK ?
    Wanted: old barnfind VWs and Sports cars ,
    save them from the crusher , I have had my tetanus shots so rust does not scare me ,
    anything considered even parts cars

    As I said before, I doubt the shade of magenta is the real issue. Other companies use magenta all the time, and this would fall under the fair use rule for the color. I think what caught Deutsch Telekoms eye was just how similar the lemonade logo is to the TMobile logo, same color scheme, same magenta background with a single white letter in the middle. If you make your restaurant logo strikingly similar to McDonald's, down to putting golden arches in your logo, McDonald's is coming after you for the golden arches. They own it.

    It's more than just printing. It's about the specified and defined branding.

    And their "color" is actually a bunch of colors, depending on a bunch of factors.

    I don't expect non-professionals to know or understand that.
