First time I’ve seen FirstNet upgrade make such a profound change in speeds in my area. This exact spot was at about 25-30 Mbps last week.

    AT&T 4G HSPA+/LTE Speedtests!, Round 2

So I just received my SIM for the cheap $15 prepaid plan.

Due to the Coronavirus I'm bunkered out here with my family in a semi rural area of the Mojave Desert here in SoCal.

Indoors it fluctuates between Band 12 and Band 2. Outside it stays on Band 2.

Disclaimer: I’m using a Moto G6 with the SIM which I like but many have said doesn’t perform well on the ATT network. Call quality between this and my iPhone 11 Pro Max on Magenta sounds HD but I don’t see the HD icon when calling it.

Can u explain why it shows band 46 three times under service mode? CA can include the same band multiple times??

Yes, intraband CA definitely has existed awhile. That isn’t the same channel being used 3 times exactly, it’s three separate channels of the same frequency. That’s LAA unlicensed 5 GHz. Same frequency as Wi-Fi.

What City/State? Highly unlikely you were seeing three actual AWS-3 carriers. Probably B4 MFBI on at least one.

Please post a pic. None of the Galaxys support a 5CA combo with 3x 66 carriers according to the FCC docs from what I've been able to find.

    2x2 iPhone 8 Plus.

Wonder what I could get with a 4x4 phone.

AT&T prepaid unlimited plus, not past 22GB yet.

Almost as fast as my gig fiber from Verizon- not counting the upload.

No idea on band combo since I’m using a Qualcomm iPhone, the only band I could see I was connected to was band 2.

5G is deployed where I took this test- Not 5Ge, 5G.

My fault it was 2x66 at 20 mhz band 2 at 15mhz an 12 at 5 MHz

Anyone know how to get past the act of Congress to open a ticket on an AT&T site that isn't allowing phone calls? They keep blaming the phone and Sims but it impacts multiple phones and MVNOs too. Sucks especially for the ones that want to call people and don't get the whole data/video call thing.

And to stay on topic... Love this new rural site by the camp that had zero coverage before.

No idea for AT&T but the one thing I liked about Verizon is they’d fixed these problems quickly. One site had a bad sector once. I called and it was fixed within a few days and they followed up and thanked me for being specific about the issue.

Nice on the new rural site. One came online in Delaware recently and it really makes a difference when these networks invest in areas where there was no service before.

From my experience there is no way to get through to the proper people in charge through the customer service channels. You may have to reach up high in the company or try to make contact with a local engineer.
