Gonna miss these uploads. Wasnít that long ago I couldnít break 15 Mbps upload between being an ALU market and having 10 MHz channels. Giving up my UL CA for NR.

What's an ALU market? I'd give anything to even see 15 Mbps up. Usually my phone camps on B12 or B2, and I rarely see more than 1.0 Mbps up.

Based on some of the early iPhone 12 reviews I've seen, it sounds like NR might actually improve that. However, I'm not sure if we get NR on the upstream side with NSA still in use?

Does the iPhone 12 not support UL CA on LTE? Or just not when itís connected to 5G?

It does support UL CA, but according to the FCC certification charts the 12 seems to lack 12+2/30/66 and 14+2/30/66 UL combos. I'm not sure I believe that because it does show 13+2/66 for Verizon which is why I think we'll have to wait and see.

Not sure... I'd have to wait until I visit the valley again. Most areas have B2 , B4, , B12, B14, B29 and B30. Some areas have B46 also

Both said 2/14. Not sure why one had 5G and one had 5Ge. Mine flips back and forth constantly (actually quite annoying) but I havenít seen n5 yet. Is n5 5x5 in most of the country?

My Qualcomm 12 pro doesnít update the field test nearly as much. I know I was on band 46 earlier and my phone still said 5G.

Does anyone else find the 5G, 5Ge, 5G, 5Ge flipping to be annoying? Just code it all as 5G then. Lies or not, itís less annoying.

Does it show carrier aggregation on the field test mode? Havenít been able to find it on my Verizon 12 Pro yet.

5G has been slower in nearly every test I've run to compare the two. The icon is nice though. B14 is just so much faster.

Whatís the theoretical max for n5 given the spectrum constraint?

Hopefully dss is coming sooner than later.

Have you noticed generally weak N5 propagation? I could pick up B5 LTE in my office no problem. I canít even pick up n5 outside of my office on my iPhone 12 Pro. So not sure if itís weaker coverage on n5 or if the new iPhone 12ís aggressively switch to LTE if it senses 5G degrading.

Around 50 Mbps ideal conditions, expect more like 30-40 Mbps.

You need a midband PCC in order to use n5, so if your office canít pick up 2/4/30/66, you arenít going to see n5 really.
