You're welcome. I'm very happy that FP is still offering these, and that good sale prices continue to be offered!

Not sure weather to thank you or flip you the bird for getting me to spend $113 (tax included) before BF. My free (ok, was $2.53 and now is $3.06) Sprint plan runs out in end of Jan, guess I'll go with this. I bought the 1GB plan before and the service seemed to work well for me. Hopefully Redpocket will keep honoring the plans.

And also to be noted is that some Target stores have it on clearance. The clearance is discounted to as much as $14.98 if you buy in store. I managed to get three SIM cards at that price last month. I have activated one of them. It seems to be holding up well so far. You can check the status in the following url.

Yes, that was reported in a thread on HoFo several months ago. It's a great deal for those that can get it!

Unfortunately, back when the $14.98 price was first posted, and still today, all the local Target stores in my area show $34.99.

Congrats on getting such a great deal!

This is a great price for 5gb of data on AT&T. What is the expiration date for activation?

Sent from my S3_Pro Umidigi using HoFo mobile app

Officially, I don't know. But I personally activated one of the FP 1GB prepaid plans in September, 2019, that was purchased in August, 2018.

Can this card be added to your existing account to extend your service end date to an additional year?

Bummer. I just activated one of these cards in Sept. FP might not even exist next Sept.

To be clear, does this plan require use of the Freedompop app for voice and text?

Yes, you need the app for calls and texts. Also, making calls from your car head unit is a problem. The upside with the app is that you don't need the sim if you want to make calls from another device on a another carrier or on wifi.

If your phone does have native sip ability and is rooted, you can pull your information from the app file and create a sip account in your Android phone app. That would solve the calling from the head unit issue.
