Took a drive downtown last night to see what the networks really capable of without people bringing it down...have to say I wasn’t disappointed!

I have a question for you guys. I'm using visible and my phone keeps sitting on B66+2 for CA. S10+. Yet my Sister's S9+ always gets 66+2+13. Why isn't my S10+ seeing 66+2+13 ever?

It could just be the way the network there is determining what bands to put your phone on rather than an issue with your phone. I've seen similar anomalies on AT&T with an S10/S9 as well.

Are you looking at the LTE bands from the same location at the same time compared to your Sister's phone? Frequencies available seem to depend on the tower. I get B66, B13, B5. B5 seems to come from a different (more distant) tower, and is seldom seen. Have no idea why one is available at any given time over the others. My area is difficult for signal anyway, and the higher frequency B66 is the poorest. These types of areas do better with the low frequency bands if available.

The eNB decides what network combo to put you on, if applicable. Totally on the network side from that perspective.

I think it's a visible issue. I put a postpaid vzw sim into my phone and boom 13+

Yeah. 1x and EVDO (3g) run on band 5 (800) and band 2 (1900). Where they have both, they typically ran 1x on band 5 (to maximize voice and text reliability), with EVDO running on whatever was left on band 5 and on band 2. By the time band 13 and 4 were deployed, 1x and 3g usage was plenty low to move it all to band 5, clearing band 2 for LTE. Most likely the LTE on band 5 is 5mhz, with the other 5 having the 1x and 3G in it.
