Various speed tests over the past few days. Tests above about 80 Mbps I believe are sites that have Verizon One Fiber for backhaul.

I’ve noticed congestion on this 4-sector site since last year - download speeds lower than upload, and higher than average ping times. I’ve noticed it on all sectors, even to the north where there’s mainly single family residential homes. The other sectors have mainly multi-family apartments and condos, and a truck stop with lots of drivers parked and probably streaming Netflix, etc.

I don’t know if this site has upgraded backhaul via One Fiber yet. My questions for others that have seen congestion:

    - Does congestion normally affect ALL sectors of a site?
    - Does a backhaul upgrade substantially ease the congestion?

Looks like we’re up to 10MHz B5 in OKC now. Just noticed this on my home site.

When did you last notice only 5 MHz of B5 on your home site? I’m trying to get an idea of when they switched. I haven’t seen any sites here get expanded since 2018. Even the latest new sites turned on in December 2019, and a site panel swap and sector addition completed a few months ago is still using only 5 MHz.

I took this picture of a new site under construction in late March - we’re just waiting for it to go live. Now I’m curious how much bandwidth B5 will have.

Late April, or earlier this month. It was very recent.

Unfortunately with unlimited you only get a .5.GB with FUDP. One and a half tests and it was burned up. I was able to add an additional. 5 GB for $5.

Switching over was easy. I just locked out.B13 and went into network settings and selected which carrier to connect to. (Bell/Tellus/Rogers)
