Something is wrong with my Fiesta 2 view

I went for a walk and had my phone in my pocket listening to a podcast. When the podcast was over and I went to put on another one I noticed my view changed on my phone. I took a screen shot and emailed it to myself but on my computer the screenshot looks normal.

The only way I can describe it is everything that was white is now black. Like all my background is black where it was white before. So the icons on my home screen they're black. Its very hard to see and I can't figure out how to get it to go back normal? I looked around settings and display but can't figure out how to put it back to a normal view. I turned it off and on but didn't change back. It's really annoying and hard to see. At first I was thinking google changed the look for halloween.ha

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Try: Settings>Accessibility>Color Inversion (Turn Off)

I hate the way some phone screens seem to turn on in a pocket, even with fingerprint security turned on, and somehow the screen is active and things are able to be changed through the pocket cloth, even without direct contact to skin!

I just turned on my LG Phoenix 2 and realized that the settings are a bit different from what I posted earlier, using my Moto E4.

On my Phoenix 2, the steps are:
    Settings>Accessibility>Vision>Screen Color Inversion (Turn Off)

So, since you have a Fiesta 2, perhaps that will closer to the required steps.

    Good luck!

I use my old LG U2 as an mp3 player when I mow the yard. I put the phone in my shorts' pocket. Sometimes I could hear the "tap..tap" sounds through the headphones and the screen changed. I guess it was caused by the phone screen bumping against my leg with my steps. If I put the phone in my pocket with the screen facing away from my leg, it quit getting "leg dialing" .

Yeah, I guess I could do that. But I would be worried that I might bump into something like a desk, table, door jamb, etc., and with the screen facing out, I would probably break the screen glass.

It still baffles me how a phone with a fingerprint lock can somehow activate in my pocket and that screen touches can happen through the cloth of my pocket!

I don't know how it got passed the fingerprint lock, but the screen is activated when it is touched by something that conducts electricity. If the cloth is thin enough (and maybe even damp) it'll let electricity pass through. Would you feel safe to touch a "hot" electrical wire with just a thin cloth covering it?

What I don't understand is that according to this article How does a touch screen work? , cellphone screens use capacitive type. But I keep my inactive phones in plastic sandwich bags after cleaning them. Occasionally when I need to test something and don't want to get my fingerprints on the screen, I'll operate the phone with it staying in the bag. Yet the screen still registers the touches through the plastic bag.

Is it possible you have 'on body detection' on under Smart Lock?

In my case, that setting is turned off. But thanks for the suggestion.

It's basically a super thin plastic screen protector. Probably the same general type of plastic.

You're welcome. But I think Smart Lock On body detection OFF is what you want. If Smart Lock On body detection is enabled (on), that means your phone is NOT locked when it's on you and moving.

Yes I realize that but I find it annoying to always have to unlock my phone especially when I'm on a walk, sometimes I can't see with the brightness of the sun.ha

Is there a way I can turn off that lock code, you know so I don't have to input my code all the time to get to my screen? I'd like to do that around the house, I hate always having to unlock it, but I can't figure out how to do that either.

You CAN turn off your screen lock by going to Settings>Security>Screen lock (select None).

If you don't want to do that, the setting to not have the phone locked when at home, at work, or any other specific location is under Settings>Security>Smart Lock>Trusted places.

Thank you, this is what I want!
