What is the exact model number? If it's an international version, it probably doesn't have the necessary radio frequencies to work on CDMA networks.

Both Verizon and Sprint are very strict on activating European phones. Most of those devices won't be allowed. Carriers like At&t and Tmobile have been willing to for many years.

    It's a Samsung Galaxy S10+ Plus 128GB SM-G975F/DS. its def a international verison
Our items are International and work with GSM networks only.
(Do not work with CDMA carriers like Verizon, Sprint, Boost...)

I figured since you have to use a sim card and that verizon was doing away with cdma that it could work but i guess not.

The bands that are missing are irrelevant to Verizon network. However, Verizon allows the phones to work on their network based on their IMEI. If that number is in their database, then is accepted.
There are some ways to check that.

For example, TotalWireless, a VZW reseller, has this tool:
    https://www.totalwireless.com/activa...sn?carrier=VZW

    Verizon has this tool:
    https://www.verizonwireless.com/onedp/byod#/dontKnow

PS: You have posted this question in the wrong subforum. This subforum is for "Non-smart phones".
