    iPhone 11 WiFi calling

I ported to Cricket with the new iPhone 11 unlocked from Apple and my WiFi calling & VoLTE haven't worked at all. At first I got the "oops that wasn't supposed to happen" error message but now I just get a never ending spinning "loading" wheel. I've reset my network settings 36 times, chatted with Cricket on their website and over the phone but they are so clueless and just give scripted responses. One agent did supposedly create a ticket and said I would be hearing from the support team but I haven't yet, it's been a little over 24 hours. Anybody else?

You mentioned 36 times network settings, in reality the ios update automatically did everything for you, never do anything on network settings.period. Simply toggle on wifi toggle and the wifi call logo appears a few second, that is it. I think you messed up the setting for sure. My 2 cents

I doubt resetting network settings could mess up something that didn’t work to begin with. According to reddit I’m not the only one having this problem, it’s definitely on Cricket’s end. I know what I’m doing on my side lol I’m not new to WiFi calling

It could be Cricket, but it could just as easily be an iPhone issue. Don't assume anything, start with Cricket technical support first.
Don't make me turn this car around.....

13.1.1 iOS updated, wifi calling, Volte work as normal, no issue, you should try do the update, my XR is sim-free variant from Apple, the 11 should work fine. FYI, my 2 cents.

Has this issue been resolved yet? I got a relative that is having similiar issue. But with them, not only does it not connect to Wifi calling, it also does not do VoLTE. The manual option was removed with iOS 13 and should be automatic. Still, his iPhone is not doing either one.

I've never been able to get Wi Fi calling enabled on my unlocked iPhone SE, nor on an unlocked iPhone 6, both of which were Apple Store bought sim-free versions. I've always been updated to latest iOS version -- now I'm on 13.2.3.

I've gone through the steps where at the end it tells me the phone is enabled for Wi-Fi calling. And in settings it shows that Wi-Fi calling is "on," but I've never had the word "Wi-Fi" in the upper left and corner of my phone between the cellular and wifi logos.

And if I ever try to place a call while I'm in airplane mode but connected to Wi-Fi, I get the message "No Network Connection Connect to a Wi-Fi network or disable airplane mode to place a call."

I'm sort of curious is one you get enabled
    - does it always say "cricket Wi-Fi" in the upper left hand corner as @mtr999 posts in the picture up thread
    - if you are in airplane mode, but still connected ti Wi-Fi, do you still get the "cricket Wi-Fi" in the upper left hand

sim card is old -- at least 4 years old, maybe more than 5. it certainly pre-dates wifi calling on Cricket. does that impact wifi calling?

the wifi calling address is correct, but i am on a family member's 5 line group plan, so my wifi calling address is different than the account's billing address and the other group members.

i never thought it might be because i had an old sim card. does i originally had my own cricket account and i transferred it still using my original sim to the group plan.

Definitely get a new SIM card, the cost would be minimal if anything at all. There have been many issues resolved by other members doing that very thing.
