    Small cell in Manassas, Va

This small cell has been up for a year or so, but didn't realize it was Verizon till today. I have never seen such a strong LTE signal. Only seen the meter pegged with 1x or UMTS before.

Didn't do a speed test since I am just testing Verizon with a 30 day Red Pocket sim. So far VoLTE is working flawlessly in every place it used to be flaky.Name: IMG_20190922_191354466~2.jpg

Could it be an original 5G test cell? These are to be boxes to be put on light poles where available.

Hard to say, not even sure why they put it there? Not a terribly high volume area & there is a macro less than 1/2 mile away.

I don't think so. Verizon is currently only deploying 5G on mmWave which I believe is utilizing nodes that look like the one in this pic.

That is correct, the original node is a LTE small cell. Looks like a Commscope stealth pole but it's hard to really know. They have so many formats available.
