Unlocking S9+ does not equal any type of USCC Wifi Calling, correct?

Apologies for the quick and dumb question (it's been years since I've delved into this sort of thing), I'm always baffled by why companies are so limiting when it comes to wifi calling. So just so we're clear, even if I took the time to research more into this, there's absolutely no point in me.. well.. researching more into this, is there?

US Cellular doesn’t have WiFi calling at this time, so no, unlocking wouldn’t do anything. Also, USCC devices are already unlocked, just so you know!

Pretty sure the earth will be hit by a major asteroid before USCC has WiFi calling.

To be fair, I've been playing around with a T-Mobile 30 day test drive 4G data puck lately and their wifi calling ain't so grand either.

Oh well. One can dream I suppose.
