    iPhone 7 WiFi calling

When I do calls over WiFi the quality is sometimes terrible like it goes in and out. My internet speed is 6 mbps down and about 600 kbps up. Is that enough for good WiFi calling.

That speed should be well above what is needed. But is there other activity going on the network? How close are you to other networks that may be causing interference?

There are multiple things that could be causing issues.
iPhone X is my current primary phone. I have older model iPhones and Moto phones available on other lines. Currently prepaid, though would consider postpaid on right plan.

Who is your internet provider? Have you tested ping time? How far away is the router?

Streaming video and webpages and I live in the country with no WiFi interference other than a router on channel 1 2.4ghz band.
My Internet provider is AT&T and the ping time is around 30 to 40 milliseconds.

The Wi-Fi router is maybe 500 feet away or so it’s on the main floor and I have problems when I am around it or far away from it

Does Wi-Fi calling work well when away from home at other locations? Have you tried turning off Bluetooth? I have found Wi-Fi can interfere with Bluetooth and FM radio. Not sure if those two can interfere with Wi-Fi, but I would try turning off Bluetooth to make sure.

It seems to work well whenever I am at other locations. Bluetooth is off. Now whenever I do a Wi-Fi calling it seems to work fine after I did network reset. What might have been the problem is the fact that the person I was talking to on the other hand might have been an area with little coverage
