Question Total Wireless APN settings cant change

I have a Unlocked Moto G7 with Total wireless and noticed sometimes I was having problems sending Picture in text messages.
I checked the APN settings and it was set to : APN: TRACFONE.VZWENTP
But the section for MMSC: Is blank
I cant create a new APN either there is no feature for this and sometimes the selected APN gets un Dotted and the connection is lost.

Any idea how to add the APN correctly or make it so it stays?

Lots of the phone will not let you add any APN's with Verizon based SIM. There is some phones that will let you edit the APN settings, but the only setting you can change that I have seen is APN. The only other APN that you can try is VZWINTERNET. Then there is other phones that will not let you edit the APN settings due to the Verizon SIM. You can try sending APN to 611611, but sometimes that does not work.

I think there is a way to force change the APN, but I can't remember how to do that.

try doing a network settings reset and see what happens.

I just wasted hours trying to use a Sony Xperia 10. I even got to the second level of tech support.

I swapped sim out of my iPhone and put in the new phone. Nothing worked I called them and they said I couldn’t swap sims so I went to Walmart and bought a new sim. Called them activated it and....Could make calls and got online no problem. I could send texts but not receive them. So called a few times and finally got to a person who chatted with Verizon. The results were I could send and receive texts. I was happy and put the phone on charger and hit the sack.

Woke up the next day was away from my house noticed I didn’t have internet now (didn’t check the night before and was on WiFi) I called TW and got automated response that they fixed my phone blah blah blah. Turn off and on and it will reset, well I did that and nothing worked texting and data dead....

Called back asked to go to upper tier support they chatted with Verizon again nothing worked I was told by Verizon a reset of phone would work I did that and still nothing works.

Result is they are sending a new sim. I think I give up. I put the sim I was using in the Sony back in my iPhone and it works fine.

APN area is grayed out and can’t be changed or add a new one. What a waste of time.
