Does prepaid support Wi-Fi calling on iCloud-connected devices?

This features allows one to make or receive calls on Mac or iPad signed in with the same Apple ID even when the iPhone is not nearby or turned off.

I currently have the legacy Walmart $30 plan and this feature works. I'm thinking to switch to the new prepaid 10GB plan. I have also looked at Verizon prepaid and AT&T prepaid. But it seems neither supports this feature in their prepaid. So I am more inclined to stay with T-mobile. I'm wondering whether this feature will still work under the new T-mobile prepaid plan. Any experience and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I haven’t seen any prepaid carriers that support it. It would be nice to have though.

It is supported on my T-Mobile prepaid service although I'm not sure if it is due to the legacy plan I have or it is supported on all T-mobiel prepaid. Other than what I have now, I haven't found any prepaid service that supports this. I have tried AT&T prepaid and Verizon prepaid recently. They both support Wi-Fi calling but neither support Wi-Fi calling on supported iCloud-connected devices.

I’ve only seen this work on T-Mobile prepaid. I wish others would add it, but I doubt they will.

It has worked for me on different plans, but you could start a new line just to test it out and if it works possibly move your number over.

Metro by T-Mobile plans too or just T-Mobile prepaid itself?

I haven’t had a line active on Metro since 2016, but it did work back then. I doubt they would take away that functionality and if they claim to support it on the Apple website I assume it still works.

I never knew this. This would be a major differentiator and possible deal breaker in support for Apple users who need this feature on a prepaid service.

Glad to know T-Mobile supports this.
