Fixing AT&T WiFi calling and VoLTE on ST

Long story short I broke my iPhone 6 and had to go back to a 4S for a week, and I got the 6 fixed but realized I lost VoLTE and WiFi calling somehow. I tried chatting with ST and they just gave the generic “your phone isn’t supported”. I questioned the rep on how it worked before, and she just reiterated my phone wasn’t supported. How can I get straight talk to fix the provisioning on the account. I sent a email to the customer relations department but I have yet to hear back. Here is the message I get when I attempt to turn on WiFi calling.

If I remember right, AT&T does not like giving their MVNO's options like this. Only Cricket and Consumer Cellular was the only odd ball MVNO's. AT&T just recently started to gave their prepaid users VoLTE. If you got them before, you might have got them by accident.

I sent a email to executive relations, normal CS was completely useless as usual. I’ll update with their reply.

Did the iPhone 6 get factory reset in the repair process, and was it's account still active? Seems the account has been stripped of VoLTE provisioning. Not sure about AT&T, but Verizon includes things like HD Voice and WiFi calling into the VoLTE package they call Advanced Calling.

The ST reps were full of it blaming the phone. You hear of them doing that on Tracfone, and especially with iPhones. They can re-provision the account. Find another rep.

Yeah, it was restored after I replaced the screen and the battery to make sure everything was all fresh. And I restored it again hoping maybe iOS was confused on what features to enable. I thing using the SIM in the 4S stripped all the features from the account, as I also lost VVM. I'm running iOS 12.4 with the latest carrier bundle. I knew the reps were wrong, as I found a screenshot of when it first started working last year. I just don't know how to find a rep that can help me and understands my issue. I haven't heard back from corporate yet either, maybe tomorrow I'll play another round of Tracfone phone rep roulette.

You used the 6 SIM in the 4s? Yes, that could have fouled up the account. Users on Page Plus have noted that when a SIM is swapped, it is noticed by the network, and is then associated with the swapped to phone. Before, the network did not know which phone a SIM was in. Verizon always could do this, but was not used on the MVNOs. ST may be doing this now. You may end up having to replace the SIM and associating it to the account.

Here is what I received from them, completely useless and I'm wondering if the only read the subject line of the email......

Also, the said they tried to call me at 9 at night and I never received a phone call.

    Dear Tyson,

Thank you for your interest in Straight Talk Wireless. We are responding
    to your recent inquiry.

This is about your request in provisioning the VoLTE (Voice over LTE)
and Wi-Fi Calling features of your phone. With this, we would like to
take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience you may have
    experienced with this issue.

We tried to call you today, August 7, 2019, 8:50 PM EST at REDACTED,
but we failed to get hold of the customer. The phone keeps on ringing
    only.

In this regard, please see the details below.

Turn 4G LTE On / Off - Apple iPhone 5 (CDMA - Code Division Multiple
    Access):
    1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Cellular.
    2. Ensure that the Cellular Data switch is turned On.
    3. Tap Cellular Data Options.
    4. Tap the Enable LTE switch to turn on or off.

    If your carrier supports VoLTE:
On your iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options. If
your carrier supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE), you'll see these options:
    •Off: Turns off LTE
•Voice & Data: Allows voice calls and cellular-data use over LTE
•Data Only: Allows cellular-data use, but not voice calls over LTE

If your carrier does not support VoLTE and is a GSM (Global System for
Mobile) carrier, you'll see one of these options:
•LTE or 4G: Allows cellular-data use over the LTE or 4G network when
    available.
•3G: Allows cellular-data use over the 3G network when available.
•2G: Allows cellular-data use over the 2G network when available.

To verify eligibility for WiFi Calling, please text "WFC" to short code
    611611.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via chat or by
calling one of our customer care representatives at 1-800-626-4883
extension 3324. For your convenience, our representatives are available
Monday-Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST.

Thank you for being a Straight Talk Wireless customer. We appreciate
    your business.

    Sincerely,

try swapping your ST AT&T sim into a phone that has VoLTE & WIFI Calling working and then try putting the sim back into your iphone 6 and see if you have VoLTE & WIFI Calling working.

I agree with what advcomp2019 said on Post #3, that AT&T does not offer VoLTE or WiFi calling on an MVNO.

It worked a year ago for my brother in law. I haven't verified it is still working.

Based on some other forums, it may be just a glitch in ATT's systems that allowed it to work.
iPhone X is my current primary phone. I have older model iPhones and Moto phones available on other lines. Currently prepaid, though would consider postpaid on right plan.

What’s strange is when I went to set it up last year it took me to the official tracfone e911 page. Now it seems to be redirecting me to a att error page. At this point I might just switch to cricket, their a little more expensive but at least I know it works. I replied to “Erd” management but they have yet to write back.
