Thread: Has anyone got Advanced Messaging (RCS) to work on their grey market Samsung phone?

    I think Samsung's Settings app gives better information. Settings -> About phone -> Software information. Under "Service provider SW ver." at at the bottom of my screenshot you can see "KDO/TLS/XAC" which means Koodo CSC, TELUS network, Canadian firmware:Name:  Screenshot_20191021-213613_Settings.jpg

    So I did the network change. Phone didn't get whipped but I also didn't get RCS.
    I see chat setting available under the message settings, but it's not enabled.
    I already had VoLTE and VoWifi using VMC/VMC/XAC
