Visible is worth it but if you don’t want data, there are cheaper options for you. Why not Verizon’s $30 prepaid plan that offers unlimited talk and text with 1 GB of data?

Total Wireless has a $25/mo Unlimited Talk, Text, no Data - but can add 5GB of non-expiring Data for $10.

As the other posts have mentioned, there are cheaper options than Visible, with better coverage (some roaming provided) and more phones supported.
iPhone X is my current primary phone. I have older model iPhones and Moto phones available on other lines. Currently prepaid, though would consider postpaid on right plan.

Visible's strong point is the unlimited/unthrottled data offering, along with unlimited (but 5 mbps capped) hotspot. For heavy data users that kind of package on Verizon's network for only $40/month is unbeatable. However as above, if all you want is unlimited voice and text there are many better options.

Total Wireless is a great Verizon MVNO for low data users, $25/month for unlimited talk/text and you can add 5 GB of data for $10 that never expires, so with low data usage you can feed off of that $10 for a long time.

Before anyone jumps over to Visible they need to read the Visible forum on Reddit. It might make you change your mind.

If you used complaints on Internet forums as a guide you'd never buy a car, use an airline, take any drug, or use any cellular carrier. That said, Visible's CS support is indeed pretty atrocious, no argument there. Your desire for the unlimited data deal has to exceed your frustration level in dealing with them is the best way I can phrase it. But OTOH once you get activated (which may or may not be a struggle, based on the phase of the moon) I've found service to be as advertised, reliable and no noticable difference in speed as compared to my VZ postpaid account.

Shameless plug, if you want to save $20 when rolling the dice you can use my referral link: https://visible.com/referral/zp6ts
