Refill expiring 3 month Mint account or start over ?

My 3 month Mint account is expiring in a few days ,

I do not care about the phone number as I only use this for data ,

I have another 3 month new sim card set-up ,

Can I just add that to my Mint account at my.mintmobile.com ?

Or is it better to start over again and get a new number ?

And this Sim card pack was bought back when it was $20 for 3 months ,

    Thoughts ?

    Just an update ,
I could not find anywhere that you could refill your account with the 3 month sim package ,
So I just removed the expiring Mint sim and put in the new unused one ,
Simple ,just had to input the act code , zip code and agree to terms......
It started working in a few minutes and I was sent a welcome message .

This was on a 3 month for $20 sim card pack I bought 5-6 months ago......
And yes I got a new phone number.....

This all I do. Switch from one prom sim to another and use Google voice to forward calls. I've never paid for a regular plan in 6 years.

I just have 2 phones , a flip phone for calling and text and my Nexus 6 for internet,

and now that Mint and others have 8gb data per month thats more than I would ever use !

There is nothing on the Mint packaging that says you have a limited time to use the sim ,
only an expiration date in 2021 , so hopefully in 3 months my next one works too !

Actually promos are everywhere. Just go on Ebay and you can buy a pre-activated sim card from various service. Eg a Tmobile unlimited plan for $20. Etc. Used to be 5 -10 bucks years ago.

True. People use to buy H2O preloaded sims for $8 every month. Now they limit you to 2 sim period.

I just activated another Mint sim that I bought back in January ,
So this is the 4th Mint sim in a row and I have one more to use in 3 months.

You get 8gb and I never get close to using it up

Activated my last $20 for 3 month mint sim today that I bought 12 months ago ,

it had an activate by 8/21/2021 deadline .

So in 3 months I have a couple of 3 months @ 12GB a month sims I got at BestBuy for $35 each.

As they say , your mileage may vary , but so far I am happy , I really only use it for data , and have never hit the limit !

I tried to make an account with a gmail address I have but I could not get it to work ,

but it activated anyway , same as the 4 I did before

I do not think you can keep your same Mint phone number with a new 3 month topup sim ,
I did not care anyway as I use it 99% for the data as I have another phone with my old Tmobile Gold account .

Also I bought the Mint sims from Best Buy or Amazon , so I figured I could try and get a refund if they did not activate ,

    So far so good !
