Takes about 5 minutes to reactivate a phone with a $10 card. Could even do it from your AT&T phone.

Maybe PagePlus pay-go with such low, sporadic usage.

Verify the details, but I think they dropped the monthly charge so it's good for 120 days or you use it up. So $30 for the year.

Must be broken, as it did not work for my phone either.

    How's THIS for cheep?
Buy a HSN phone with one year on it. $60.
At the end of the year, transfer your time and number over to another HSN fone.
IF the HSN promos go away, then you take one of the old sim kits we all bought up for a $1, TMFL, and transfer to an old fone and then put a TMFL sim in a fone of your choice. $20 for three months. $80 a year. The linked $50 deal is a good one too but not as good as HSN.
Chris who stays one squirreled away HSN phone ahead of the curve.

Maybe I will try the $20.00 90 day card just to see how it works out. That way if it doesn't work, I'm not out much. I could do the 30 day but it would be my luck that we wouldn't be going into any area with no ATT service in that time frame.
Then I'll stick to my original answer. For $49.99, you'll have peace of mind for a year with enough allowances not to worry about occasional usage AND, as long as you keep the service days current, any unused balances will never expire.

There's a full discussion on it at https://www.howardforums.com/showthr...-from-Tracfone

Otherwise, check out HSN and/or QVC for a bundled phone and 1 year plan, that can sometimes start out as cheap as $59.99.

If you go the 365 day Tracfone route, you must use the phone occasionally, not letting 6 months pass without any calls, or Tracfone will deactivate the phone.

Not really on the subject, but I use Xfinity mobile as my backup.. $1 for the phone and $2.50 per month if you don't use any data..

The page seems broken. The submit button isn't working.

Tried several browsers on phone and PC with same results.

Yea, when I enter the meid of my current PP phone (droid razr m), the checker tells me it's not
volte capable so not eligible for activation ...

I do have an unactivated usc moto e4 I'll use for replacement when I have to switch phones ....

Put my MEID into the box and got to the "New Activation" screen. That MEID is for a Moto G4 Play. Also installed a VOLTE checker app and it said the G4 Play is VOLTE capable. Also, typing *#*#4636#*#* into the dialer shows a screen where one sees a VOLTE provisioning ON/OFF button which is supposed to indicate it is VOLTE capable. Am I missing something on whether the Moto G4 Play is VOLTE capable?

Entered mine for a Moto G4 and I got the message that my phone is eligible for PagePlus service. I guess that confirms it is VoLTE.

You seem to be describing an unlocked G4 Play, rather than the VZW version. I seem to recall my VZW G4 Play did not have the *#*#4636#*#* menu, which is typical with VZW branded devices. A VZW corporate store said the G4 Play was VoLTE capable, but think that was only directly on VZW service. They don't know or care what their phones do with MVNO service.

Yes, that was an unlocked Moto G4 Play and it was unlocked from the get go. My VZ Moto G4 Play does not respond to the dialer code nor does entering the MEID at PP do anything. This one was unlocked with a code and a pre-activated TF SIM was used in the phone.

The statement earlier didn't differentiate the G4 Play variants.

Probably tied to a Verizon account like on the VZW E4.
