Walmart $35 for 6 GB Boost Mobile plan

    Hi all,

Anyone have any experience getting a 6 GB Boost Mobile plan for $35/month at Walmart?

My key question is: What makes one eligible to enroll in this? Do you have to buy a device from Walmart? The fine print on the in store flyers don't really say. It just says to activate at boostmobile_com/walmart.

I'd like to know if I bring my own phone and get a Boost SIM, if I just go to that URL to activate, do I qualify? Or would I need to buy a Boost SIM from Walmart? Or would I actually have to buy a device from Walmart?

Double the normal 3 GB data allowance for that price would be great.

    Thanks

Tello (Sprint also like Boost) UTT 6GB for $24 + taxes. Check with their online IMEI checker if your phone will work.

Thanks for the tip, but I've been gun-shy to try the completely 3rd party MVNO's after a bad experience with Republic Wireless.

I've been on the four major carriers, postpaid, and on prepaid, Cricket, Boost, Republic, and now Metro. Republic, by far, was my worst.

Pricing for Tello definitely leans towards the "too good to be true".
