Does Bell support seamless hand-off between VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling (both ways)?

I'm curious if it works like TELUS' and Rogers' implementation. I'm with TELUS and my calls hand-off seamlessly between VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling as needed. If I'm using Wi-Fi calling for a call and I disconnect or move far away enough, my call doesn't drop. And if I go into a basement and lose cellular coverage, then it automatically switches to Wi-Fi calling without dropping my call. I usually don't even notice the transition mid-call.

I'd test this myself with a friend but the only people I know with Bell don't have the features turned on.

I haven't tested myself either, but I've heard it's seamless in both directions for Bell also.

I was told recently by someone that it doesn't and I wanted to confirm whether or not that's true.

It'd be great if someone could test it.

No. Once you connect/disconnect from WiFi your call will terminate.

    This is from Bell's page.

Calls must start and finish within the Wi-Fi network you connect to. If you leave a Wi-Fi zone during a call, the call will terminate. Similarly, if you start your call on the cellular network and enter a Wi-Fi only zone, your call will terminate.

I just tried it. Seamless in both directions. You lose a split second of audio during the transition, but the call stays up.

That's great to hear that Bell's wrong, in the right way. I support 50+ iPhone users but I have a Pixel so I'm out in the cold on WiFi calling.

Each phone might behave differently. I tried on a Pixel 3 and it worked great.

Thanks for confirming it, sheytoon. I appreciate it.
