not all plans qualify for the tab?

I was looking at this phone:
    https://shop.freedommobile.ca/device...%20Talk%2010GB

It won't let me pick any plan from the plan page.

Are most of the plans BYOD?

    Yeah for a while now
They removed the Better Together Savings and Tab options from many of the cheaper plans

They also reduced Tabs (and removed Tab+) off all other plans
    Koodo $40 Canada Wide + 8GB + 1000 Intl LD
    Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $12 Loyalty - $45 Refer = $19 per Month
    Freedom $35 ($37-BTS) North America Wide + 8GB + 1GB Roaming

Mmm, not easy to buy a new phone.

    >For the best LTE experience, we commend you use a Freedom Mobile LTE-Ready phone with Band 66 connectivity.
    >If you're phone isn't Band 66 compatible, you can still access our LTE network. We have upgraded our LTE network to make the vast majority of existing LTE phones (including older models) compatible with our LTE-Advanced network.

My LG G5 doesn't seem to have band 66, will it be worse off?

I'd like to try the Freedom network without buying a new phone.
