which is a new URL, after logging in with your old FreedomPop logon.

    The plans it offers are:

    $3 /30 days 200 minutes 500 texts 200 MB LTE Data
$9 /30 days Unlimited Unlimited 1 GB LTE Data
$40 /30 days Unlimited Unlimited 10 GB LTE Data

So there, finally, are the special Red Pocket CDMA plans for FP users.

Maybe they will appeal to some people.
    hmm.. seems better than Ting...

is this a Sprint network plan? or Verizon? Will the FP Sprint phones work directly with these RP plans?

Yes these are plans on Sprint and the same devices will work. You will have to port or cancel them them off Ting first.

Wow.. why did fp even bother selling the cdma side to Ting?
Why go thru the headache of splitting the sale if rp can do both?

Easier to get cash from two companies quickly than one, or see which would make the best offers?
Only STS Media’s people know the answer to your question.

RP did not purchase the CDMA customers. Ting did. Exclusively.

RP is just attempting to shoehorn themselves in through the back door after the fact. Covertly (no public web page).

    Interesting.
There's no reason to stay with Ting if you have low data use. (And if you have a gsm sim, no reason to even bother saving your cdma service.)
Ting still wins with 20 Gigs for$20+tax.
Although I'm leaning towards one of those providers with$5/month hotspot with unlimited 2G (56k dialup modem speed) data

    From Ting email:
If you don't take action by Tuesday, August 6, 2019, your phone service will be turned off.
    1 more week to freeload!

For the last three weeks, I've gotten an error message when I tried to get my port out info. Today, it finally worked but I had to use my IMEI rather than my phone number. Then I discovered that my "phone number" is not actually my phone number. The number they have for me is totally different than the one I've been actually using, so I have no interest in porting the random number they somehow think is mine. This is just a backup so I don't care about keeping the number, but it's weird.

Some VOIP numbers can not / could not be ported to Sprint. There is a lot more that can be said but since you do not need the number, I will skip it.

Is Red Pocket sending out emails to former FreedomPop CDMA subscribers containing these offers and the url?

Emailed out en masse, no. (That would be pretty impolitic of them while the accounts are still being transferred to Ting).

No but they have posted that URL on their forum in individual replies by FP Admins to questions. That is where I got it from. So they have offered it officially in that way and there is no reason you cannot take them up on it. Some have done so already.

In fact, that $3.00 offer was promised weeks ok by an announcement on FP's forum which I posted here at the time.

I have the ATT FP SIM and when I log in to the site with that URL it wants me to activate a CDMAS Sprint line... not sure how that works.

    It does not work.

The offer is for former FP CDMA account holders only, and only to activate a Sprint device.

Thanks. Trying to digest everything in those forums now.
