    1. I can't find the Red Pocket $5/month 500mb/100/100 on their web site.
    2. With the Red Pocket plan, are those units use-it-or-lose-it each month? With TF, they roll over, which helps when your usage fluctuates.

I agree with you ST Dog, but TMFL works for me when I want to add 365 days of service on my BYOP. The only smartphone plan offering 365 days is $125.00 for 1500/1500/1.5 GB vs 1200/1200/1.2 GB for $99.99 for the basic phone. Losing 300/300/300 MB and saving $25.01 works better for me, especially when Tracfone offers 500/1000/500 MB for $25 as a smartphone card with 60 days of service added on. For the same $125 you could get 2000/2500/2.0 GB and 425 days of service if you need all the talk, text and data. Me, well I don't use my phone that much so I'm happy with the TMFL one year card at $99.99 when I need to add a year. However, I DO "top off" with the smartphone cards when I need talk or data added on if I run low.

    1. See https://www.redpocket.com/plans/ebay
    2. That's exactly right!

Yep, can't argue against FREE. I signed up with FreeUp Mobile last month. Any phone that can use an AT&T SIM will work, I used my old Phoenix 2, then switched to a GoPhone Lumia 640XL that I bought in 2016. Paid a one-time $5 to get the SIM. They give you 1000 units for calls/texts each month. For data, you can either buy it or earn credit for it by watching/printing ads. I just don't turn on data. Each month, I just need to log into my account and click on a box to renew my service.

There are many options, cheaper than a 400min 1yr card. Like the subject SIM or a HSN phone bundle.

    Like this with 1500 m/t/d for $80.

Or even the $125 card for $100

Just search for Red Pocket... here is the link
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Mo-Red-Po...8AAOSwNepb9vRm

Yes, use it or lose it each month. If you run out of minutes, data or text you can purchase more for very reasonable price. Read the webpage all the way to the bottom on how it works.

Yes, Tracfone rolls over, but you still have to have active service, so you must pay to extend your service.

When I bought this yesterday, it said it was limited offer and there were 4 sold. Now it is showing 444 sold. Don't know how long this will last.

I got this message from TF eBay. Should I believe it? I want to get 2 to add 1 each to the 2 TF iPhone SE phones my parents got in March.

"We have read your message today, May 18, 2019, 12:48 PM EST. This is
about the TracFone Prepaid Wireless Smartphone Plan+SIM-1200 Min, 1200
Text, 3-GB Data. We want to let you know that this airtime plan can be
added to an existing TracFone line. You are also not required to use the
new SIM card of this item. You may keep it for future uses."

It would be GREAT if one can simply ADD the units & days to an existing phone without going through the harvesting process. But I'm skeptical of what that response says.

Yes, aimed at new customers but not restricted/limited.

Again, none of the bundles ever mention being for upgrades/current customers. All the way back to the VA canteen phones that activated with 1yr of service 10+ years ago.
Hope you're right about it being a typical TF offering that can be added to an existing balance!

I haven't paid much attention to TF offers on eBay, but it differs from bundles sold on HSN and QVC. As far as I know they all come with a phone and that phone has to be activated. That difference may be significant or not. We'll see.

I'm with hpham on this - the reply looks like a canned reply that *may* not be accurate.

But, jump on it if you can use the sim for some new activations if you find out it can't be used to supplement the balance on the SEs. I've no need for new lines, otherwise I would have bought at least three.

It can't be added to a balance , the existing balance and number are added to the bundle when you transfer to the new device/SIM.

This does too, the SIM is the device. TF has treated BYOP SIMs as the device (instead of IMEI) on AT&T and TMO since they started BYOP with them.
