Oh you know what...I must retract my statement. The new Sprint site is not live yet. Just double checked the Service Mode pic and that is MFBI on VZ. I have never seen 5/26 or 2/25 MFBI on Android before but earfcn 8975 is the same frequency as 2585. My bad. Looking forward to it going live though.

It's now been about 2 weeks since the new site went live. Today I noticed they've added their 5 MHz B26 carrier, and a second B25 carrier of 10 MHz. The speed tests have improved substantially. Oddly I haven't seen B41 on the new site, yet it's on all other sites in town.

Does the site have panels for band 41?

I think so. They’re the white panels in this photo...

Interesting, but given Sprint's past network upgrades and rollouts, making up a reason might be as valid as their actual reason.

I've seen band 26 a total of once currently. And I think the phone realized I knew, so Sprint switched it right back to band 25 for no apparent reason.

The 5MHz only thing is odd too. I'm guessing your speed is the lack of bandwidth as your uplink is decent. Oh Sprint...
Honestly, the 8yrs i lived in Phoenix (I worked for Sprint much of that at the office off baseline), Phoenix has historically been one of Sprint's worst markets, and one of the last to even get LTE installed in the first place and/or upgrades.

My phone service was $0/mo and I always opted for T-Mobile there as while it was not perfect, the data/voice did cover 99% of the city well and LTE/HSPA gave decent speeds.

Sprint always rolls out the bands in waves for some reason. I've seen the cell site plans and it's always done one at a time with 800 Mhz usually the last on the chain. Have patience it's coming.

There is a brand new Sprint site that is live in the small northern Michigan village of Lewiston. It was put up earlier this year and is up and running. I don't have Sprint service to test it(yet) but was able to pick it up in Service Mode. Haven't seen B26 or 41.
