What Company Should I Use For A Carrier Subsidy Unlock?

I have a ZTE Z915 that I would like to get unlocked. Does it matter what company I use for this service? Is one pretty much just like another one? How much to they charge, typically, for this?

I have just used the cheapest ones I could find on eBay. Should be $2-$3 unless the Z915 is some kind of difficult phone.

The T-Mobile 4G Hotspot Z64 that I linked to at the top of the thread can be unlocked, as can the T-Mobile 4G LTE Hotspot Z915, the Alcatel Linkzone, the ZTE Falcon Z-917, and the Samsung LTE Mobile Hotspot PRO. You'd need to meet the eligibility requirements to unlock the device before you could submit the request -- you can find those here: Unlock your mobile wireless device
    https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1588

If your device meets the eligibility requirements, contact us to request an unlock code and steps to unlock your device. Keep in mind, this policy is subject to T-Mobile’s Terms and Conditions of service and may change without notice.

    Go to T-Mobile.com

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request at this time. Per the manufacturer this device was designed to be used in conjunction with a T-Mobile SIM card only and therefore, a SIM Unlock code is not available. T-Mobile does have other handsets available for International Travel that can be unlocked to use on other networks. Please visit our website at www.T-mobile.com.

I would always shop around for an answer. If "no" is the first answer, keep trying.
