Are you staying with Mint after the 3 month trial ?

My 3 months for $20 ends next week ,
And I was wondering how many are signing up for Mint at full price?

I have only used it for data and it has worked fine , but I never get close to using the 8gb per month.
Wanted: old barnfind VWs and Sports cars ,
save them from the crusher , I have had my tetanus shots so rust does not scare me ,
    anything considered even parts cars

Nope ... I could not initiate 3-way calls on my plan.
That is a deal breaker or me.

I had to leave 2 months into the 3 month promo as data was unusable due to prime time de-prioritization in my area.

I'm just starting my second 1 year term with them (after trying the 3 month intro offer first), but I'm on the lowest (3gb) tier. T-mobile works fine where I am, so I haven't had any problems.

I don't use Mint, but if I did the trial wouldn't be a problem due to using Google Voice.

I signed up for 3 months about 1.5 years ago, but then jumped to Cricket for a good port-in deal. I just finished another 3-month promo on Mint and then extended for 6-months. No issues so far.

I'm giving mint a try to see how good T-Mobile in my area and to see if i can get band 71 here... Won't stay after my 3 months and if T-Mobile gets band 71 here I'll sign up for T-Mobile postpaid.. prepaid just has too much deprioritization for my needs Plus mint doesn't offer full speed unlimited data so it's all ready a deal breaker for me

Way too much deprioritization. Much, much more than I had ever experienced with Simple Mobile and other Tmo mvno's.

Ok if you just need a phone number, but for data...forget it.

Yes, I'm staying. Will probably commit to a year when the 3-month intro is finished.

I've been very pleased. Never had a problem with voice calling. Data is generally fast, but less than solid at some indoor locations. (suburbs of Memphis). But in those locations, wi-fi is available.

I've used other MVNO's: Cricket, Consumer, and Red Pocket GSMA (all AT&T network). Don't know if I can credit Mint or T-Mo or both, but access to all the bonus features is seamless on my LG G7 and G6 with Mint: wi-fi calling, VoLTE, HDVoice, conditional call forwarding and hotspot. Never had much luck on the other MVNO's with these features. I especially don't think I could go back to standard garbled voice calls after using HDVoice.

    He probably meant this:

    Mint Speedtest

That was my results here in Houston and others have had similar issues in populated metro areas. You can tell it is deprioritization because the ping is really good for the most part. It was an everyday thing for me, but if data works for you in your frequented areas it's a good deal.

Yep. That's what I meant. (I just figured out "wdym" meant, lol).

I'm in Atlanta and my Speedtests look just like yours. Just bought Mint as a standby novelty since it has cost a grand total of $10 for 6 months of service, so far.

Don't use it for long stretches and often when I get around to it, seems like it takes several minutes before I can even get online, sometimes.

Never was like that for real Tmo prepaid, Simple Mobile, or a couple of other Tmo mvno's I tried. They all had excellent speeds, almost all the time. Never more than a few seconds of deprioritization delay. They all had better signal/speed than my present Criket service(which is very acceptable for the unlimited group rate I pay).

I got a text message from Mint today that my 3 months is over tomorrow evening at 11.59pm
I have a couple more 3 month sims , so will put another in and go for the next 3 months.
I am getting LTE bands 2+4 with Band 12 every once and a while. I am in the Los Angeles area on the flatlands and not stuck in a canyon etc.
