Will installing a SIM do any good on a 3G phone?

I have a Kyocera XV flip phone that has a SIM slot. It's supposed to be a 3G phone they say. There are references to 4G in the manual. Some of the Ky phones are supposed to have 4G, not sure about this one.

Will installing a Page Plus SIM do any good? A 99c gamble?

You need to make sure the phone has at least the Verizon LTE bands and works with Verizon's VoLTE. There is some phones that has Verizon's LTE bands, but does not have Verizon's VoLTE.

Try a used Verizon Galaxy 7 edge, G7, or (for quite a bit more than $100) an Iphone 6 or 7.
