Sprint FREE cellular deal - Will be coming back to Cricket

I am not impressed with Sprint, I ported over my Iphone 8 plus number from Cricket Wireless for the year of FREE Sprint wireless.

My biggest gripe with Sprint is you cannot talk & browse the internet at the same time!
Plus, since Cricket is on the ATT network, the coverage is better!

In hindsight, I had better service with Cricket capped at 3MB, but you cannot beat FREE!
I have marked my calendar to switch back when this offer expires.
You don’t know how good you have it till you leave.
    Rick

    It's not really FREE

I got it for my son but then ended up deciding not to give him a phone quite yet (I believe that giving all our young kids phones is contributing to their decline) so ended up canceling a few months later.

It seemed to work okay when I tested it.

It did cost almost $5 a month for the taxes. When I get Cricket for around $16-18 for the 5GB plan, I would much rather have that than a "free" plan that costs 5 bucks and that may go away at some point

I considered switching to that free plan a while back. It would have been about $5-6 a line versus $20 but I would also had to spend $$ on phones that work with Sprint. Didn't seem worth it for a year. And that's before I remembered how bad Sprint was in my area that made me leave them in the first place. Not to mention no data while on a call.

You get what you pay for with sprint. There is a reason they are giving the service away.

One last word.... Sprint said I had to take Sprint Complete (their phone insurance & service plan) $15 per month. Sprint said that I could cancel anytime for a prorated price.
In theory you can, but I am still trying.
The website gives an error & never works to cancel Sprint Complete.
After several phone calls I got transferred to a rude older woman. I got tired of answering stupid questions, so after the seventh or eighth time repeatedly saying Please cancel Sprint Complete. Several days later, not cancelled.
Called again today. We will see, they say to check my bill in three days... I won’t hold my breath!
