I was one of those that was allowed to "upgrade" my Mobley to a M1 Nighthawk device directly through AT&T. They gave me the device for $49.99 for accepting a 2 year contract.

Did your Mobley say connected car unlimited in your account?

Yes. I had zero problems. That was over a year and a half ago. Still going strong.

When I go to upgrade the device there’s no option for another hotspot device.

Yeah I haven't seen the option to get a M1 pretty much since I picked mine up. I checked a few weeks ago. Just tablets and Arlo now it seems.

Since it’s classified as connected car unlimited account it’s possible now there isn’t an upgrade option for a different hotspot device.

My mobley account still shows two hotspots (nighthawk and express2).

The only problem is they want full price.

What’s your Mobley account classified as? Connected car unlimited?

Anyone with this plan can upgrade to an M1.
You don't get the option if you are already using the device in an M1.
One of my lines is using a Velocity. I see the option to upgrade to an M1.

How do you upgrade if it’s not offered?

I went through my upgrade options on my Mobley line that says an upgrade is available. It's showing that I can get:

    Unite Express 2: $6.25 for 20 months
    Nighthawk: $10 for 20 months
Nighthawk Refurbished $8.50 for 20 months.
