I do give Cricket's Att network a bit of a edge with more coverage in the boonies, but that is quickly changing with T-Mo's continued rollout of new towers and bands. No wrong choice between the two, but the slow data speed on Cricket makes for some frustrating slow internet.
You might be lucky in the area where you travel for business within the City. I live in the City, and congestion and slow data service is very real here. The last phones I've used on Metro, were the LG Q7+, and iPhone 6S, so I believe it is an issue of tower congestion rather than slow devices.
